> Jessie J is a name that should be on everyone’s recently viewed YouTube list and current download to your iPod, iPad, MP3-whichever your preference- a listen will enrich your very soul.  Hailing from London with a good amount of success under her stylish belt, this UK sensation has been preparing for her grand introduction to every geographic location.  She rocks a powerhouse voice keeping music lovers with happy goose bumps and jamming along.  Jessie J is already on the worldwide map.  Her authentic approach to music, as well as life, is undeniable.  At just a mere age of 23, she is an absolutely good for the body, good for the soul artist in a truly captivating, classic approach.

Perhaps one very impressive attribute of Jessie J is her talent to prosper whether singing Pop music, R&B, Hip-Hop or sending chills to audiences belting out some Soul. Seen at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards singing interludes and anthems between commercials and different awards, Jessie launched herself into the American living room. A physical look composed of deep, expressive eyes; a rich, black bob with rock star-chic bangs; and a pin-up pretty presence, global music fans can’t take their eyes off her enchanting appearance.  Jessie J is here to mesmerize in several ways.  She whole-heartedly believes good or bad, you are who you are.  She chooses to live and not hold back a single version of herself.  She could care less what judgment may be passed or what people have to say.  She is who she is and will continue exactly as that.  This personal choice to live so openly has the masses wanting more.

Born March 27, 1988 Jessica Ellen Cornish is the youngest of three sisters.  Her childhood was completely normal, by her own description, and the ability to thrive for her musical ambitions was her very own.  With varying creative talents, Jessie was the only member of the family to sing.  By age 17, Jessie achieved the success of creating her first song titled “Big White Room.”  The song tells of an experience she had sharing a hospital room with a sick child, who unfortunately lost his life.  The ability to recognize raw emotion helped forge the words for an endearing account of that moment.  This is a brilliant strategy for success.  This gave Jessie even more drive to maintain her momentum.

Once signed to her first label, Jessie spent some time feeling out the industry.  Eager to keep the creative juices rolling and keep building upon her artistry, touring with a few well-established artists began.  Jessie found herself in the company of Macy Gray, Chris Brown, Cyndi Lauper, and previous Don’t Miss the Beat featured artist, Taio Cruz.  The talent radiating from every performance she did had the bigger acts taking notice.  Her ability to author songs has not faltered and as opportunity would have it, she has written for Chris Brown and co-wrote the fun-loving Miley Cyrus hit “Party in the USA.”  It’s safe to say the party is in full swing.
Music aside, Jessie has a keen eye for style. Known for her super tall shoes and her ability to achieve intense looks, this fashionable lady keeps you intrigued.  Whether it’s a fuchsia cat suit or a completely wild pattern, Jessie’s style is exceptional and eye catching.

For the recent Grammys, Jessie was extravagant yet polished, and completely right-on. Wearing an amazingly shiny silver and black Julien Macdonald gown, which caused Jessie to call herself a ‘personal disco ball,’ she turned heads the entire stroll along the red carpet.  Impeccable, sophisticated hair and a smart choice of statement earrings rounded out the look for this best dressed nominee.

As for the future of this fascinating gal, catch Jessie on ‘The Voice’ UK.  Rallying with fellow musicians’ will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Danny O’Donoghue of The Script, and musical legend Tom Jones.  These four will make an excellent team of well-rounded and exceptional ‘performing’ judges.  Expect tons of inspiration for the contestants being in this company.  Jessie, the sole lady judge will be able to use her honest and lovable appeal to keep the gents in line no doubt, definitely offering her share for the comedic side of judging.  It will be no surprise when she guides the contestants along with simple advice that brought her to exactly where she is: be true to who you are. <
