The TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster will be available for public viewing in Orlando beginning Sunday August 15th 1pm-6pm at Tharoo & Co. The Jewelry Boutique at Pointe Orlando.

The TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster, traveling around the world on the Odyssey of Pioneers tour, will arrive in Orlando on its journey through the United States. This is the first world tour by a zero-emission vehicle.

The Odyssey of Pioneers centers around the 2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster, a one-of-a-kind collector’s car incorporating TAG Heuer styling and design elements, a unique concept watch, and TAG Heuer timepieces. The tour celebrates TAG Heuer’s 150th anniversary and the company’s worldwide partnership with Tesla Motors.

The Odyssey of Pioneers is a 22,000 mile journey through 15 major cities and hundreds of towns over three continents. The TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster accelerates from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and consumes no gasoline. The Roadster plugs into any conventional outlet and can travel 245 miles on a single charge. It is the only sports car in the world that can be charged with solar, hydro or wind energy.

Tesla Motors has sold more than 1,200 Roadsters to customers in at least 28 countries. The company sells cars directly to clients, both online and in a growing network of regional showrooms worldwide.

Tesla is revolutionizing the customer experience with its house-call approach to service. Tesla’s pioneering mobile service technicians, Tesla Rangers, travel to a customers’ home or office and perform annual inspections, firmware upgrades and other services. Customers can enjoy service from their home or office wherever they live.
